THEMATIC SECTION - Gender-based violence as a sustainability problem

چکیده
The connection between gender-based violence and sustainable development remains under-researched, despite the fact that more than 30 percent of women worldwide have experienced physical and/or sexual violence. This article aims to address this research gap by foregrounding sus-tainable examining a body literature with geographical focus on Global South. To end, it draws two different approaches: three dimen-sions sustainability Sustainable Development Goals. Both approaches demonstrate, directly or indirectly, negatively affects path reducing person’s potential, capabilities well-being, thus hindering development.
